Treloar’s is a charity that provides outstanding education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people and empowers them to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Treloar’s was started in 1907 by the then Lord Mayor of the City of London, Sir William Treloar. It runs a school and college in Alton, Hampshire.
Treloar’s has continued to have very strong links with the City of London and the Livery companies. The Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers has regularly supported Treloar’s and last year additionally sponsored a hoist which is used for essential tasks such as transferring a pupil from bed to wheelchair at the start of the day.
Each year Treloar’s organises a charity Gala Dinner at Mansion House in order to raise funds. We have provisionally booked one table of 10. If you would like to join us, then please send an email to [email protected]. Places are limited so please reply by 14 February if you wish to come.
