LSO Gala Performance

On Tuesday 14 March 2017,  the Master attended the London Symphony Orchestra Gala Concert at St Pauls Cathedral in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

The Cathedral was a magnificent back drop to a wonderful concert. The highlight was the Lord Mayor, Andrew Parmley, an accomplished musician, playing the organ in Saint-Saëns - Organ Symphony. The piece, otherwise known as Symphony No. 3 in C minor, was composed by Saint-Saëns in 1886 and lasts around 35 minutes. The Gala Concert also featured Parry’s I Was Glad, Allegri’s Miserere and Walton’s Coronation Te Deum, sung by the St Paul’s Cathedral Choir.

The concert was a sell out with everyone being treated to a fabulous evening.
