Guest of the Launderers

The Master and Consort attended the Installation Ceremony for the new Master of the Worshipful Company of Launderers in the River Room at Launderers' Hall, before attending the annual Service of Thanksgiving at Southwark Cathedral at which the new Master makes a very public promise to serve the Company to the best of his or her ability during their year of office. Afterwards the Master and Consort attended the Installation Dinner at Launderers' Hall and also enjoyed a tour of the new "London Arches" space in the recently refurbished Hall. London Arches is an entirely underground cellar type space with great lighting which makes it feel light and airy. It is suitable for drinks receptions and also dining. Launderers' Hall is more commonly known as Glaziers' Hall, but also sometimes Scientific Instrument Makers' Hall as the three Livery Companies co-own the space.
